  • What information do I need to provide in order to set up a client?

    • We need a service authorization along with the client's demographics, including name, address, phone number, DOB, state ID, authorization start and end dates, the number of meals being approved, case worker information, waiver type and any other notes we will need regarding the client.

  • What will the first delivery day be for my client once you receive paperwork?

    • If we receive paperwork by 5 PM Thursday, the client will receive their first delivery the following week. Clients whose paperwork arrives after 5 PM on Thursday will be delivered the week after. Click here to provide us with the client’s zip code and retrieve the next available delivery date.

  • How often and how many meals will you deliver to the client?

    • Clients who are authorized for: 

      • 3 meals or less per week will be a monthly delivery
      • 4-7 meals per week will be delivered every other week
      • 8+ meals per week will be delivered on a weekly basis
         
  • My client is approved for one meal per day. Can you send 7 per week instead of 14 every other week?

    • We deliver 14 meals every other week for several reasons: 

      • Minimize the amount of packaging
      • Average refrigerators can easily store 14 meals (meals should be refrigerated)
      • Meals will last in the refrigerator for 14 days from delivery

  • What is the price per meal?

    • Pricing for our program is agreed upon between Mom's Meals and the individual agencies. Costs are based on several variables including state, zip code, menu, program, etc. Please contact our Customer Care New Client Service Team at (866) 716-3257, Option 1 with specific pricing questions.
       

  • If I resume meals this week why does the client have to wait until next week for delivery?

    • Resuming a client is similar to setting up a new client so we need notice by 5pm on Thursday in order to be delivered the following week. If an expedited start is requested, we need to check with our logistics team to determine if we are able to accommodate the request.

  • What is the cut off time to cancel meals?

    • Cancellation cutoffs vary from client to client based on their delivery schedule and method. Typically, if we receive the request to cancel meals for the next delivery, we would need it by 5 PM on Thursday.

  • What information do I need to provide in order to set up a member/patient?

    • We need a referral along with information about the member or patient, including identification and address for delivery, meal start date and duration, the quantity of meals per day, case manager or other referring provider information, and any other notes we will need regarding the unique food preferences or delivery information to best serve each individual.

  • When will the member/patient receive their meals?

    • Members/patients will receive their meal delivery within 24-72 hours of receipt of referral. 

  • How often and how many meals will you deliver to the member/patient?

    • The number of meals and frequency of delivery varies based on plan design. We work with each partner to determine the specific needs for their members/patients.

  • What is the price per meal?

    • Pricing for our program is agreed upon between Mom's Meals and the individual partners. Costs are based on several variables.

  • Can I order food for my parents if they live in another state?

    • Yes, through our Self Pay program. We can set up different billing and shipping addresses and can deliver to all 48 continental US states, even to the most remote addresses. (excludes Alaska and Hawaii)

  • How do I re-order?

    • You can re-order by phone or email at orders@momsmeals.com. A menu is included in each shipment to make re-ordering simple. If you pay independently, you may also order online at www.momsmeals.com. 

  • How do I place my meal order?

    • If Mom's Meals is your current meal provider, you may place your order by calling, emailing orders@momsmeals.com or if you pay independently, you may order online at www.momsmeals.com. Our customer care team will also contact you when it's time to place your next order. 

  • If I pay for my meals myself, can I leave my credit card on file to reorder weekly with charges going to my credit card?

    • Yes! It is possible to have a family member arrange for payment to be made every week by credit card and have the shipment delivered to a loved one at a different address. Each week, your credit card will be billed for the next week’s delivery. Call a sales associate today at 1-866-971-6667 to make arrangements and authorize your loved one to order Mom’s Meals. Or, if ordering online, select AUTO SHIP at checkout to set up ongoing shipments.

  • What is Auto Ship?

    • If you prefer to have your meals sent each week without worrying about placing an order each time, select AUTO SHIP at checkout, and we’ll automatically send a shipment with the meals you selected from your last order. You can update your meals, if needed. When you’re an AUTO SHIP customer, you will save 10% on all of your orders. Your credit card on file will be charged, and if you need to cancel your order for any reason, you can cancel one week before any order is shipped, with no long term commitment!
       

  • Who do I call for questions about my order?

    • If you ever have any questions, please contact our customer care team at 866.971.6667 or email us at info@momsmeals.com and your questions will be answered promptly.
       

  • Can I store your meals in the freezer?

    • Our meals are designed and packaged to last in the refrigerator for 14 days from delivery. Although meals can be kept in the freezer, we suggest storing them in the refrigerator to ensure the best quality. If you are unable to consume the meals within the 14 days, store them in the freezer; however, be sure to thaw overnight in the refrigerator prior to heating.

If you are unable to consume the meals within the 14 days, store them in the freezer; however, be sure to thaw overnight in the refrigerator prior to heating.

  • How does the food keep in the refrigerator for 14 days?

    • We utilize proprietary packaging that eliminates gases. Our breakthrough packaging prevents spoilage during transport from our USDA kitchen to homes. And, meals will last in the refrigerator for 14 days from delivery when placed in a refrigerator that is maintained at a temperature of 40 degrees or below.  

  • Do I need to prepare anything to eat Mom's Meals?

    • No preparation required! Simply follow the suggested heating instructions on the label of each entree, warm in the microwave and you have a delicious and nutritious meal to enjoy!
       

  • Do you use preservatives?

    • We do not add hormones, nitrates, or preservatives to our meals. However, there may be nitrates or preservatives present in some ingredients that we purchase that extend their shelf life. Whatever is listed in the product specification for an ingredient we use is listed on our ingredient label.

  • What makes Mom's Meals different than other programs?

    • Four things make Mom’s Meals different:

      1. Fully-prepared, refrigerated meals will keep in the refrigerator (40°F) for 14 days from delivery. Allows you to eat when you desire.
      2. Individual CHOICE – choose every meal, every order from a broad selection of entrees. Only select the meals you enjoy.
      3. Health-specific menus – you can choose the menu that best supports your specific nutritional needs. Menus to support most common chronic conditions.
      4. Mom’s Meals Customer Care – we genuinely care about our customers and personally reach out to them with each order to ensure satisfaction.
  • Can I choose my meals?

    • YES! You are able to select every meal, every order from your designated health-condition menu. You may select any combination of breakfast, lunch and dinner entrees to total the number of meals you are approved for or wish to purchase. 

  • Do you offer any discounts on your meals?

    • For those paying independently, we do offer a 10% discount for Veterans as well as those who subscribe to our Auto Ship service.
